Preston Feather, Northern Michigan's premier building centers and design showrooms announces team member Mike Leginski's induction into LBM Journal's 2025 "40 Under 40." LBM Journal, the leading voice of the lumber and building materials industry, recognizes 40 LBM pros under the age of 40 who demonstrate leadership and exemplify commitment and excellence in service to their companies, customers, and communities.

Now in its third year, the 2025 class was chosen from more than 100 nominations from across the country. Nominees were reviewed and narrowed to a list of finalists by members of the 2024 "40 Under 40" class. Inductees are all pictured on the cover of the June issue of LBM Journal, with more details on each one in the current cover story, which can be read at https://lbmjournal.com.

"We're honored that Mike was named one of 40 impressive young pros who are helping to drive their companies forward every day," says Rachel Huntman, owner of Preston Feather. "Mike is an invaluable member of our Leadership Team. Although he is based in our Traverse City location, Mike is helping to develop and guide strategies for our entire team. Mike and his family moved to Northern Michigan in 2019, gaining experience in the Petoskey location before being promoted to lead the Traverse City branch in 2022. Mike is widely respected not only for his technical expertise, but also for his dedication to mentorship and cultivating an engaging culture, making a lasting impact on both his team and the industry.

Each of this year's inductees have been invited to attend the LBM Strategies Conference 2025, which will feature educational sessions and panels tackling some of the industry's biggest issues, as well as speakers, including some from this year's class.
