Martell Electric was founded in 2001 and began operations in 2003. The company was owned by MISCOR Group until February 3, 2010, at which time they were purchased by John and Bonnie Martell. In February 2021, the company became 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
