Grand Traverse & Leelanau County transit agency.
As a public entity, Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) is a vested community partner. With more than 120 employees, BATA provides more than 590,000 annual rides to residents and visitors in Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties. The transit authority offers Loop service with dedicated routes and fixed stops, its Bayline route with free 15-minute frequency as well as Link service that functions as a traditional dial-a-ride.
