We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and managing our credit union's networks, servers, and systems, ensuring seamless operations and robust infrastructure protection. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, VoIP components, and more. They will analyze and resolve system-related issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools, support team members, meet established deadlines, lead IT projects, and keep leadership informed of system-related matters. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of networks, servers, and systems.
  • Ensure uninterrupted operations and protection of infrastructure.
  • Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VoIP components.
  • Analyze and resolve system-related issues reported by users or monitoring tools.
  • Support team members and meet established deadlines.
  • Perform as an IT project lead and keep leadership informed of system-related matters.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer cience, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, CCNA, CISSP, and/or other industry certifications preferred.
  • Five years of experience in a System/Network Administrator role preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Three references acknowledging knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding technology.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  • Knowledge of Windows server-based networked environments and components.
  • Technical expertise in networking, Windows Server, and desktop operating systems.
  • Ability to create scripts in Python, PowerShell, SQL, or another language.
